Italian company, Beautynova Group has named Cory Couts president of the company’s North American division. Couts will lead Beautynova’s expansion in the U.S. and Canada and report directly to the Group’s CEO Stefano Banfo.
 
Beautynova globally markets milk_shake, simply zen, Medavita, NO INHIBITION and Depot beauty brands.
 
Couts held a variety of leadership roles throughout the professional hair care industry for more than two decades. Previously, Couts served as the global president to the salon division of the Kao Corporation (a Beauty Packaging top 20 company). At Kao, he oversaw Kao’s acquisition of the Oribe brand as well as strategies pertaining to Goldwell and KMS brands. Prior to Beautynova, Couts served as senior vice president of global professional sales for Olaplex.
